He's shy, so shy. April 21, 2010 Armando N. Roman (Hillsboro, OR) If you ask me, Austin's a weird looking dude with that long head of his, but he's still cool, and often gets overshadowed by the other Backyardigans. But it's time to shine with this Beanie Baby, and Ty did a great job converting him to plush form. Austin looks nearly identical to how he does in the show, though the mouth throws me off a little still. The stitching on his eyes, nose, eyebrows and mouth is fantastic, and my daughter's didn't have any problems coming unraveled. He's not under or overstuffed either, so unless you happen to get one that quality control might've overlooked, your Austin shouldn't have any problems with a droopy head. There aren't any parts on this that your child could choke on since it's well-made, and the colors will appeal to anyone.
This is a great little plush. If your child loves the Backyardigans, or just Austin, this is a must. Go for it before they retire them!
great for backyardigans fans March 1, 2009 anon in oregon these are great for any backyardigans fans. they look a little odd in person, but are overall very good stuffed representations of the cartoon.
Austin Rocks October 21, 2008 L. Higginbotham (Tomball, TX) Austin was a great hit with my grandson. He is well-made, and now, well-loved. As fas as educational, he teaches how to love, but not much else. I think he will really last a long time.
Austin plush toy October 3, 2008 Maribelle Ramon Espinosa (Fresno, California) My daughter loves the Backyardigans. She has the plush dolls near her when she watches the episodes. They are very durable, a good size and just sooo cute.
Backy July 20, 2008 S. Wai This product is just what I expected and wanted about 6" high more or less and the kids can hold it and cuddle it.
