Bought this set for my grandson. Very well made and really nice colors… he looks so cute wearing this hat with his bright orange coat!

The knitting is thick and warm - and the chin strap/ear flaps make sure it keeps him covered. I like the elastic chin strap a lot more than a tied chin strap - which usually ends up being too tight and pinching his little neck. This is more comfortable.

If you want your little guy to look “cool” while staying warm, I’d recommend this for you.

This one is a little confusing. The picture of the hats when you click to get to the page is different than the picture of the hats actually on the page. One of the hats has ear flaps and a chin strap and the hats on the main page have that front part sort of like baseball caps. I believe most of the reviews are for the chin strap hats, which is what I bought. They are no longer on the main page (at this time), so I am not sure if they are currently available. The negative reviewer was correct in stating that these hats are not reversible nor do they have a fleece lining. The positive reviewer was correct in saying that they are knit very thickly. The chin strap on the one I ordered is just a thickly knitted strap (not elastic, as another reviewer stated) which attaches to the other side via velcro. It is warm enough for the weather where I live, but may not be warm enough for some parts of northern New England and places with similar weather. This is a good hat for young children who are not yet thrilled with excessive snow play. I’m not sure how well it would fare if your child is playing in the snow a lot with it.

This hat is just beyond cute, and the chin strap is great for making it more difficult for the child to remove the hat. The flaps over the ears are nice and he just looks so toasty warm in his hat and mittens.

very nice winter hat and gloves for my grandson. He liked them and wore them all winter with a charcoal grey winter coat. Coordinated well.
